Time to make the doughnuts

I've been talking with Cat Daddy and Tres, the owners of VooDoo Doughnuts about a back ad for Kickstart. They don't do much advertising, but they said Yes! Cat Daddy has a very cool Bajaj delivery truck that I suggested they incorporate into their ad. Can't wait to see what they come up with!

You can check out VooDoo Doughnuts here: www.voodoodoughnuts.com
Where else can you buy a yummy doughnut then get married...underneath a giant papermache doughnut?

Don't Go Changin'

I've been trying to shake a cold for the past two weeks and now allergies are starting. Ugh. I'm trying to wrangle up some stories for our next issue too. My phone voice is sounding a bit like Barry White right now. Hmmm, emails may be a better option. Hate to waste the Barry White goodness, maybe karoake this weekend.

Kickin' it in Portland

Do you like scooters? Do you like the Pacific Northwest? Do you want to make friends and influence others? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this is the place for you!

Welcome to my Kickstart blog. My name is Karen G, I'm the creator and editor of Kickstart. What's Kickstart, you may be asking yourself. Well, it's a scooter zine, hand-made with love from Portland, Oregon. Yeah, the place were it always rains. It's also home to lots of scooters, their proud owners, and many a scooter shop.

I'm currently working on our sixth issue, but will try and keep the blog updated as much as I can.

Drop me a line, let me know someone else is reading this. And if you have any scooter stories, I'd love to hear from you.

Gotta scoot,
Karen G
